The Safety Spacer Snap Band is our first product. It is the answer to a problem familiar to all cyclists: Hardly any cars keep a safe distance when overtaking. It becomes really dangerous on narrow roads, at night, or in heavy traffic. Drivers perceive the danger to us cyclists differently, or not at all. To them, a cyclist is just a dash in the distance—at night, just a white or red dot.
The Safety Spacer Snap Band makes cyclists more visible. A highly reflective yellow snap band is attached to the handlebar with a special holder, protruding up to 30 cm into the road and so alerting drivers to keep their distance. It is equally visible from the front and rear because the reflective film is attached to both sides. It can be easily rolled up and stretched out again with a quick press. The spacer is easy to install, small, and light enough to store in a jacket pocket.
Unlike the yellow snap bands or click bands that cyclists and joggers wear on their arms or legs to increase visibility, our Safety Spacer Snap Band has a highly reflective film on both sides. When stretched to a length of 30 cm and attached to the bike’s handlebar perpendicular to the direction of travel, it makes the cyclist more visible to both overtaking and oncoming drivers.
It rolls up if you accidentally touch an obstacle with it. You can also roll it up yourself with a click if you want to move forward through the narrow space alongside the cars waiting at a red light to the stop line. Even if you forget to roll it up, the soft reflective film will not scratch the car paint. Attached to the handlebar, it is always in the cyclist’s field of vision, unlike a spacer or pool noodle fixed to the luggage rack. The snap band is large enough to increase visibility, but not so large that drivers perceive it as an unnecessary, arbitrary obstacle, causing them to get even closer or become really aggressive. It is intended as a friendly reminder to maintain a safe distance. And it works! Try it out.

Please send us photos of the damaged package, including the shipping label and the damaged product. Please also provide your order number. In the event of damage, we will immediately arrange for a replacement delivery.
Product safety
No. Since the holder can be attached to different places on the handlebars according to your preferences, you can always find a position that does not interfere with riding. With a weight of just 50 g and an extremely flexible design, it does not affect the handling of the bicycle.
No. Due to the risk of injury, you should discard it. Damage to the sealed plastic foil indicates improper handling of the snap band. When used in accordance with our assembly instructions, the reflective plastic foil is practically unaffected by mechanical wear and tear and provides lasting protection against direct contact with the spring steel band inside.
No. The snap band is so flexible that it rolls up or comes off in case of a collision. Furthermore, the holder attached with an elastic band has no sharp edges, so it cannot cause any injury in case of a fall.
