Safety Spacer assembly instructions:
How to easily install your Safety Spacer Snap Band

The set consists of 3 parts:
Holder (rotatable and tiltable)
Snap Band (reflective on both sides)
Elastic silicone band

Hook the elastic band with the large opening into one of the two hooks on the holder.

Unroll the snap band with both hands, keeping hold of it so that it does not roll up again.

Hold both ends between your fingers and thumb, stretch the band, and overcome the resistance of the snap band by pressing both ends, which will cause a clicking sound.

When rolled out, the snap band has a slight bulge caused by the spring steel inside, which gives it stability. It rolls back up again by simply pressing on this bulge.

The bulge of the rolled-out snap band and the circular top part of the holder are designed to fit together so that the snap band can be pushed into the space between the two rings.

When pushing the snap band between the two rings, pay attention to the bulge of the snap band. Push it until it protrudes about 1 cm on the other side of the holder. This ensures that the snap band is tight enough in the holder so that it does not fall out. If it comes into contact with an obstacle, it simply slips through or rolls up.

Attach the holder and snap band in a suitable position on the handlebar using the elastic band. Depending on the shape of the handlebar and the position of the brake levers, the holder can point downward, forward, or upward. The snap band can also be moved between the rings as desired. The rings can be rotated 360° in the holder and tilted 30° in all directions. This means that the rolled-out snap band can be mounted at an optimal angle of 90° to the direction of travel for any handlebar shape.
